Hellooo, hi everyone, And happy New Year although that may be more than a week over due
It’s been over a week since we came back but I must say my head is still in Thailand. The place was just gorgeous. Those shooting stars and that sunrise….. Life was simple and laid back. Those two weeks there were just wonderful. The kids were great. Everything went really well although I was down with some sort of horrible sickness for 2 days. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever - it was probably stomach flu or something.
As for the projects, they went smoothly. We did adjustments and stuff but that was to be expected. We managed to carry out the things that we set out to do and the most important thing was that the kids had fun. They are the sweetest. We made each other smile.
I’m so glad I went for this trip. I think everyone should have the chance to experience something like this. it really gives you an all round perspective of life and what's really important. It would be just wonderful if we could all go back again for a follow up or something but until then, we'll miss pilokee. I'll miss pilokee.

Hi guys, hope you all like the skin i come up with. There is a new tagboard for those who are too lazy to post like me, a new judebox for you to choose songs and a new video player to play video of our happenings. 1 more thing, please always look out for the last archive box in the blog because that is where many of us would announce and remind each other of upcoming events and stuff.

hey all! unlike miranti i don't have any pictures to post namely because i dont have a camera. and well i didn't want to appear inadequate so i present to you this!
i really miss pilokee and pilokee air and bangkok streets and bangkok tuk tuks. this trip has taught me a lot and enlightened me. i hope it has done likewise for you too. it is almost a new year now! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

we are back
edpilokee team came back from our 17days trip from thailand on the 29th dec.i can say that it was a fun and educational trip which most would miss.the place pilokee itself is a memorable place.i would miss the breath taking sight which we can't find here in singapore.the kids are just so adorable and is willing to help anytime.
i guess all of us would have a sense of achivement in ourself after our trip to pilokee.we made the kids smile and laugh.we are more like their entertainment when we are there as they hardly have anything interesting to enjoy.their lives were simple and pleasant and free from all the stress unlike here.
i guess i feel contented after helping nad sharing our knowledge to the kids and youths there.hopefully they will make good use of what we had share to them.
till then.i miss pilokee.

well,i guess the moment that all of us are waiting for are finally here.we'll be departing in less than i dn 't knw how many hours.
my heart and mind are not prepared yet to leave.i guess after being attached to loving in singapore for 20 years with my parents,i felt sadness in me.
even so,i have to stay strong and do what i am supposed to do there and have an achievement for myself.my heart is beating so fast and my mind just could not think.
this project meant a lot to me as this is my first time and hopefully not my last time to do service learning.hopefully the people will enjoy our service and company and so do we.
lastly,i would like to thank tha people that had given me tremendous support for all the months that we have been peparing for.
Im gonna miss home and him,abdul qaiyum.till then enjoy the trip and have a great experience.

Oh my goodness, it's less than 24 hours before we take off.
I'm all packed.Big thanks to my cuz who helped. I made a very detailed list. i wrote down everything.clothes,shoes,socks,number of rubber bands.... Everything is compartmentalised,sorted and compressed. Socks one corner, village clothes at another corner, disposable underwear here, pretty underwear there.....The bag is humoungous. I feel like i will topple over when i pick it up.
hopefully everything goes smoothly and most importantly we have tones of fun. :)
This is like so exciting. i have a small battalion sending me off to the airport tomorow. And all my friends are wishing me as if i'm not coming back. Like we are going to war or something. So dramatic.
Farewell! back in 17 dayz. Souvenirs anyone ?
PS: and dun worry pras....got my brand new passport all laid out and i'm ready to go....

Hey guys it's only two more days left and I can already feel the excitment and anticipation. The best thing is that I haven't even started packing yet . Hahaha will be doing it by tonight I hope. Any way I really enjoyed our last meeting at Seoul Garden and all the funny stuff we tried to do with our hands. I really enjoyed Ms Ina's attempt to move one arm forward the other backwards lol. Can't forget taking pictures with our jackets and the funny poses we did. Finally went to see Deja Vu at the cinema there. By the time it ended was already late and every one was deciding where to go or how to go home but I didn't have any worries as I was staying quite near. lol P.S. Remember to bring your passports on Tue especially Sabita!!!

How much money everybody bringing? How many t-shirts to bring?
How many shorts? Should i buy them there? What if it rains everyday?
Should i bring a rain coat? What if i cant sleep at night?
What if i got THAT side effect? Will people laugh at me?
Should i bring pampers or disposable underwear?

.Miranti here.Its 6more days to go before we embark on our journey.Some maybe doing this out of passion,some want to get the experience of a lifetime while some wants to try new things in life and have fun.
The feeling of knowing that we are going in 6 more days is scary and abit of excitement in running in me.We've come a long way and i feel that we have put in a lot effort in making this project a successful one.But the fun begins when we are there itself.
Let's go all the way and serve the villagers of Pilokee well.I want to give them the best experience that they have never get by all the hard work that we've put in.
